Business Development Manager

We're working with an independent builders merchant that's looking to grow its footprint across Kent. If you've got a solid background in sales, know the trade inside out, and love being out on the road, this Business Development Manager role could be the one that takes your career up a gear.

Day to day in the role of Business Development Manager:

• Manage and grow relationships with trade customers across the region
• Win new business through site visits, referrals, and reactivating lapsed accounts
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless service from quote to drop

What you'll get in return:

• £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission
• Company car or car allowance
• Monday to Friday schedule with full autonomy in your patch

What we need from a Business Development Manager:

• Proven experience in external sales within a builders merchant or related sector
• Strong product knowledge across heavyside, timber, or general building materials
• Confident, self-motivated, and able to deliver results without being micromanaged
